Quotes from the field

¨Guiding is essentially about a genuine enjoyment and an honest appreciation of, and dedication to all the many faces nature has to offer us. It is indeed a privileged occupation. Imagine being paid to take people out into the wilds of Africa!" An extract from the book 'A Guides guide to Guiding'- Garth Thompson
¨The course made a real difference in my life and I see it as a crucial landmark and entry ticket to the industry" Gad Ezair, Jan 2009 (Currently working as a ranger at Phinda Forest Lodge)
¨Joining Bushwise is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had the most amazing wildlife sightings, made great friends and learnt more than I ever thought possible. For me, the bush really is the best place in the world!" Nikki Lynas
¨I would like to say that I still look back at Bushwise as one of the best memories ever! I loved it! I would recommend anyone to do Bushwise, whether you are looking for a career or just for 6 months to a year out!" Helen Bastin, Jan 2009
¨The Bushwise course was a complete turning point in my life and gave it a direction I am still following. Quite an achievement in only 6 months!" Thilo Heinecke, Jan 2009
¨...doing this course has just landed me a job promotion. I work for a medical diagnostic company and they want to branch into the animal side of things. They approached me to head up their South African base to visit Game Reserves and Veterinary Clinics. They were very interested and impressed in the Bushwise course and this helped in me landing the promotion" David Foster
